We begin at the San Antonio Volcano
Visitor Center, crossing a lunar landscape
of young lava, skirting the Teneguía cone,
and finishing in the valley with views
of the Roque before reaching the salt
flats and the lighthouse.

The Roque hosts the second-largest
petroglyph site on La Palma, featuring
motifs ranging from spirals to labyrinths,
best seen at sunrise or sunset. It is also
the refuge of the Centaurea junoniana,
an endemic and endangered plant that
grows in its crevices.
