On my path as an explorer,
I discovered La Palma, an island that,
in just 706 km², concentrates an astonishing

Every curve of the island
reveals a significant change,

With an altitude of 2,426 meters
and an elevation coefficient
of 3.44 meters per square kilometer,
La Palma is literally a miniature continent
with a constantly changing landscape.
La Palma offers me a unique opportunity
to travel through time in a single day:
from its young lands, freshly shaped by volcanic activity, where life is just
beginning to establish itself,
to the ancient laurel forests
that connect us to a past full
