Excursion to the Tajogaite Volcano in La Palma

On this exclusive route within an exclusion zone, we will accompany you to tell you about the 85 days that forever marked the history of La Palma. We will take you through the remains of the 2021 eruption, where you will be able to understand both the magnitude of this geological phenomenon and the profound consequences it had on the daily lives of those who live here. We invite you to walk a circular trail over volcanic ash, where each step follows the living footprints of a still-breathing volcano. DURATION: 3.5 hours (with interpretive stops) DISTANCE: 7.2 km ELEVATION: 400 meters ALTITUDE: 1,200 meters REQUIREMENTS: It is important to be in good shape. In summer, the heat can be an additional challenge. DIFFICULTY: Easy: for experienced hikers. Intermediate: for active people with no hiking experience. Demanding: For those who don't walk regularly or have health problems. (This activity is not recommended.)
